*After honing his craft on stages from Johannesburg to Los Angeles, actor and model Stevel Marc is poised for a major Hollywood introduction. With two high-profile film releases in February 2026 and a key role in an upcoming Netflix thriller, Marc’s career is accelerating into the spotlight.
From Jamaica to Global Screens: The Stevel Marc Journey
Stevel Marc‘s path to Hollywood began in Portland, Jamaica. His early career as an international model took him to fashion capitals like London, New York, and across Asia and Europe, building a professional presence in front of the camera. He later established South Africa as his creative hub, appearing in major commercials for brands like Revlon and performing voiceover work for the South African Tourism Board.
His dedication to acting led him to formal training at the Johannesburg Civic Theatre and the TVI Actors Studio in Los Angeles. This foundation has supported a growing list of credits, now set to expand significantly with his upcoming projects.
February 2026: A One-Two Punch of Premieres
Marc’s busy month begins on February 13th with the Briarcliff Entertainment sci-fi adventure “Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die.” Directed by Gore Verbinski (Pirates of the Caribbean), the film features an all-star cast including Sam Rockwell, Zazie Beetz, and Juno Temple. The story follows a man from the future who recruits patrons at a Los Angeles diner for a quest to save the world from rogue artificial intelligence. Marc plays the character Doctor Marc.
Just one week later, on February 20th, A24 releases the darkly comedic thriller “How To Make a Killing.” Starring Glen Powell and Margaret Qualley, the film follows a man who, after his mother’s death, seeks revenge on the aristocratic family that disowned her by targeting the eight heirs ahead of him for a dukedom. In this project, Stevel Marc appears as Brad Matthews.
The Road Ahead: Netflix and Beyond
Following his February film surge, Stevel Marc will continue his screen presence with a role in Season 3 of Netflix’s popular South African erotic thriller, “Fatal Seduction.” The series follows a married professor entangled in a passionate affair that spirals into a web of tragedy and betrayal from those closest to her. The new season is slated for release later in 2026.
With this powerful lineup, Stevel Marc is positioned for a breakout year, transitioning from a respected international model and actor to a recognizable face on major streaming platforms and the big screen.
