*Michael Strahan is still searching for the person who startled him during FOX’s NFL Sunday pre-Halloween broadcast.
As we reported earlier, the former New York Giants star leapt from his seat when a masked figure suddenly appeared behind him, prompting an instant, shocked reaction. Reflecting on the incident, one of Strahan’s coworkers made a funny admission. “I would have been fired by Michael Strahan,” Erin Brady wrote, Essentially Sports reports. Strahan replied, “Someone will be.”
The Halloween prank caught Strahan completely off guard. He blurted out in surprise, “What’s wrong with you, man?” before realizing it was a joke and laughing. Cohost Jay Glazer added to the humor, saying, “That’s how you get someone hurt out here!” After the broadcast, Charissa Thompson shared the clip online, captioning it, “Sorry Stray! Thanks for being a good sport.” Strahan appeared to take the scare in stride, reposting the footage himself.

This wasn’t Strahan’s first unexpected on-air moment. Earlier this month, former New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman attempted a field goal during a FOX NFL demonstration — and it misfired directly into Strahan’s face.
The segment included Strahan, Edelman, Rob Gronkowski, Jay Glazer, Terry Bradshaw, Howie Long, and Curt Menefee. Attempting the kick without socks, Edelman sent the ball spinning straight into Strahan, leaving him momentarily staggered. Glazer joked that Strahan needed to enter “concussion protocol,” while Strahan laughed it off, admitting the ball hit him “in the eyeball.”
