*Fans have waited nearly four years for the next chapter of “Euphoria,” and the first look at Season 3 is finally here.
HBO has unveiled a new trailer, along with a confirmed premiere date of April 12, 2026, marking a long gap since Season 2 wrapped on February 27, 2022.
As Forbes reports, the delay between seasons was influenced by multiple factors, including the COVID-19 pandemic, writers’ strikes, California wildfires, and the tragic death of cast member Angus Cloud. Scheduling conflicts also played a role, as creator Sam Levinson shifted focus to “The Idol” in 2023, while main cast members Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney pursued various projects.

Season 3’s official logline hints at deeper philosophical themes: “A group of childhood friends wrestle with the virtue of faith, the possibility of redemption, and the problem of evil.”
Returning cast members include Zendaya (Rue Bennett), Hunter Schafer (Jules Vaughn), Jacob Elordi (Nate Jacobs), Alexa Demie (Maddy Perez), Sydney Sweeney (Cassie Howard), Eric Dane (Cal Jacobs), Maude Apatow (Lexi Howard), Chloe Cherry (Faye), Colman Domingo (Ali Muhammed), and Austin Abrams (Ethan Daley). Season 3 also introduces new faces, including Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Sharon Stone, Rosalía, Danielle Deadwyler, Marshawn Lynch, Natasha Lyonne, and Tyler Lawrence Gray, among others.
Euphoria continues to tackle addiction, trauma, grief, sexual exploration, and mental health, following Rue and her peers as they navigate the transition from high school into adulthood. The third season promises to wrap up the storylines that made “Euphoria” both controversial and critically acclaimed. Watch the trailer above.
