*ElevenLabs, an artificial intelligence audio technology company, plans to launch “The Eleven Album,” an innovative musical collection that merges computer-generated compositions with performances from established stars and digital-native creators.
As Billboard reports, the release features renowned entertainers including Liza Minnelli and Art Garfunkel, alongside digital creators such as King Willonius, who gained recognition for “BBL Drizzy,” plus additional up-and-coming artists working in AI-assisted music. The album was created through ElevenMusic, the company’s artificial intelligence music generation system, along with the Iconic Marketplace, a service allowing performers to authorize AI reproductions of their voices.
Different songs on the album employ varying levels of AI involvement. Some compositions are entirely machine-generated, while others blend human-written elements with AI-produced musical components. Certain pieces incorporate AI-simulated vocal performances, whereas others present the genuine recorded voices of the artists themselves.
Participating musicians will maintain complete control over ownership, earnings from streaming platforms, and usage rights. Spotify will handle distribution, representing what appears to be an unprecedented collaboration between the streaming service and an AI technology firm.

ElevenLabs CEO Mati Staniszewski described the album as a major milestone, saying, “At ElevenLabs, our mission is to reimagine how humans interact and create with technology – and The Eleven Album marks a major milestone: the first large-scale artist-AI collaboration bringing together talent representing over 1 billion streams, multiple GRAMMY Awards, and decades of influence across modern music.”
Minnelli reflected on her involvement, stating, “I’ve always believed that music is about connection and emotional truth. What interested me here was the idea of using my voice and new tools in service of expression, not instead of it. This project respects the artist’s voice, the artist’s choices, and the artist’s ownership.”
Garfunkel also commented on the experience, noting, “Music has always evolved alongside technology, from microphones to multitrack recording. What impressed me about this experience was the respect for musicianship. The human remains at the center. My voice plus the technology simply opens another door.”
With “The Eleven Album,” ElevenLabs aims to highlight the possibilities of AI as a creative partner, demonstrating that technology can amplify human artistry rather than replace it.
