*Filmhub has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming holiday adventure “Dog Patrol: Operation Santa Paws,” which stars Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr. and rising talent Paxton Kubitz. The film will be available as a TVOD title for rent and purchase on digital platforms, including Apple TV and Prime Video, starting Thursday, November 20.
Per the news release, the story follows Samuel (Kubitz) and his dog Athena as they embark on a thrilling quest to stop a clever mob boss and save Christmas for their town. Joining their mission, Sheriff Jacobs (Gooding Jr.) proves that courage and heart are essential in delivering a joyful holiday ending. Watch the trailer above.
Directed, produced, and co-written by Josh Webber, the ensemble cast also includes Richard Portnow, Glenn Plummer, Robert Miano, Mars Callahan, Kaitlyn Raymond, Joseph Baena, Ludovica Frasca, and newcomers Kylie Marshall and Santiago Ramirez. Webber’s direction promises a mix of family-friendly adventure and heartwarming holiday cheer.
The production team features two-time Grammy-winning music publisher Tony Mercedes, Henri Penzi, and co-producers Christina Cooper and Michael Girgenti, with Mercedes and Tamara Johnson serving as executive producers. The musical score is composed by Randy Edelman, known for his work on “Twins” and “Kindergarten Cop.”
