*Halloween has arrived at Disneyland Resort, with Halloween Time now underway through Oct. 31 and Plaza de la Familia returning to Disney California Adventure through Nov. 2.
According to the news release, this year’s Halloween Time celebration brings new seasonal looks for Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse and their friends. The outfits feature harlequin-inspired designs, frilled collars and cuffs, along with confectionery-inspired details.
Guests visiting Haunted Mansion Holiday can also check out a new gingerbread creation marking 25 years of elaborate sweet displays inside the attraction. This year’s design takes the form of a monstrous music box.
Food offerings are also getting a seasonal update, including limited-time bites such as buffalo chicken ranch pull-apart bread. Plaza de la Familia will feature its own selection of Mexican-inspired offerings, including the Nuez gelatina cake.

New collectibles are also part of this year’s festivities. The Vampire Mickey Mouse popcorn bucket and Coco Lantern sipper will be available beginning Sept. 3.
Meanwhile, Plaza de la Familia returns with live entertainment, festive décor and Mexican-inspired cuisine celebrating the spirit of Día de los Muertos.
The fall lineup also includes the daytime “Mickey’s Trick and Treat” show at Disney California Adventure and “Halloween Screams” at Disneyland, with fireworks offered on select nights.
Several seasonal attraction overlays are returning as well, including Haunted Mansion Holiday, “Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween,” “Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree” and “Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark.”
The seasonal transformation extends beyond the parks. Pixar Place Hotel will feature new Disney and Pixar’s “Monsters, Inc.”-inspired décor, while Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will bring back their confectionery displays. Downtown Disney District will also feature seasonal décor, food, shopping, movie nights and live entertainment.
