*A new psychological thriller is on the way as “Cries of the Raven,” directed by Emmy-nominated filmmaker Tailiah Breon, has officially completed principal photography. The film stars Skyh Black of “All the Queen’s Men” and Birgundi Baker of “The Chi” and is now moving into post-production, per the news release.
The cast also includes Tiffany Black from “P-Valley,” Nia Miranda of “G.R.I.T.S.,” Philip Fornah from “The Waterfront,” Sydni Michelle Perry of “Beyond the Gates,” and River Blossom from “Abbott Elementary.” The project is produced by Silver Lining Entertainment and Bluelite Entertainment.
Set in modern-day Pennsylvania, the film centers on Bruce and Marissa, a couple hoping to start over in a quiet new town. Their optimism fades after moving into a house they believe will be their dream home, only to discover unsettling noises echoing through the property that feel strangely familiar.

As mysterious warnings appear and hidden truths from their past begin to surface, the couple must face the consequences of their previous actions. What begins as a hopeful new chapter soon turns into a disturbing journey that forces them to confront a spiritual reckoning they cannot avoid.
“Cries of the Raven explores guilt, sin, and the consequences of our actions,” said producer Angela White of Silver Lining Entertainment. “Every action has a reaction, and the choices we make can create consequences that haunt us forever. It’s a psychological thriller that challenges audiences to question whether the reality they’re experiencing is truly real.”

Producer Alusain “Al G.” Sillah added, “Cries of the Raven is the kind of thriller that keeps audiences on edge from beginning to end. The story pulls viewers into a world where the past refuses to stay buried and every revelation raises the stakes. It’s suspenseful, unsettling, and designed to keep audiences questioning what’s real until the very end.”
The film is produced by Angela White, p.g.a., Alusain “Al G.” Sillah, and Mona Scott-Young of Monami Entertainment, with Anthony Standberry and Herbert Baussiquot serving as executive producers. We’ll keep you updated when the release date is announced.
