
*We haven’t heard much from CeeLo Green this year but for some reason, he has decided to pop out to give his two cents on female rappers.
In an exclusive interview with Far Out, the 45-year-old musician shared his love of old pop music and offered his thoughts on the current genre while sharing what he thinks it is lacking.
“We are adults. There should be a time and a place for adult content,” Green started off. “As adults and artists, we should at least attempt to be each other’s accountability partners in some regard,” he said. “The stereotypes that are celebrated and perpetuated, ultimately make the perception a reality. It is disenfranchising and it has caused a great deal of problems.”
