*Brittany Renner is stepping into a new creative chapter with the launch of her podcast, “Facets of Life with Brittany Renner.”
As Black Sports Online reports, the social media influencer announced that the first episode is now available exclusively through her Patreon, positioning the series as a deeply personal platform. The debut arrives amid a period of reflection following her highly publicized marriage and divorce.
In an Instagram post revealing the project, Renner framed the podcast as an intentional beginning rather than a public reckoning. “This is where we begin,” she wrote, describing the opening episode as centered on “integration” instead of “redemption.” The language signaled a focus on growth, healing, and self-examination.

Renner, 33, drew widespread attention last year when she disclosed that her marriage to rapper Kevin Gates ended just 52 days after it began. Speaking on Los Angeles radio station REAL 92.3 LA, the former “Basketball Wives” cast member shared the timeline directly, stating, “We got married April 6 and divorced May 28.” The revelation surprised listeners and quickly circulated across social media.
During that same interview, Renner explained how Islamic marital customs shaped the divorce process. “There is a 90 day waiting period in Islam, where you have 90 days to see if you’re pregnant because then he would be responsible,” she said. She also emphasized that the period is designed to encourage reconciliation, adding, “And during those 90 days, you are not to entertain anybody romantically.”
Renner spoke positively about the experience, noting, “So, what I will say is Islam has made my life easier.” Reflecting on the emotional impact, she added, “Honestly, I don’t think anybody gets married to not stay married. So this is a nice 90 day reset, just focusing on myself.”
Despite the brief union, Renner said she has no regrets and feels at peace with her choices. “A lot of people, their issue is, even just in dating, in marriage, it’s people just don’t give it their all,” she explained. “But I feel like when you do, you’re at peace with whatever happens because I gave 100 percent.”
She concluded with acceptance, saying, “I don’t feel like it’s a sucky situation because what is meant to be is always going to be.”
The podcast launch follows Renner’s recent openness about her faith journey, personal evolution, and financial uncertainty, themes that appear central to the new series.
