A California judge found the “Stupid Again” rapper guilty on three felony counts and sentenced the Tory to 10 years; he was “convicted in December of three felonies: assault with a semiautomatic firearm; having a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence,” reports the Associated Press. Prosecutor Kathy Ta read Megan Thee Stallion‘s, real name Megan Pete, victim impact statement in court, “Since I was viciously shot by the defendant, I have not experienced a single day of peace,” said Megan.
Tory says he still considers Megan Thee Stallion, a friend. “If I could turn back the series of events that night and change them, I would,” he said. “The victim was my friend. The victim is someone I still care for to this day.” Tory continued, “Everything I did wrong that night, I take full responsibility for.” You have it, folks; he admitted to shooting Megan; our report finger is strong, so stop harassing her online.
A Tory Lanez fan, Ashley Ramirez, engaged in a non-coherent rant outside the courtroom early this week and threatened to “beat Mariah The Scientist‘s a** for Tory Lanez.” Allegedly, Mariah initially came to Tory’s defense when the shooting surfaced. Ashley didn’t mention Megan Thee Stallion as much because most of her ire was directed at Mariah. Poor baby is too lost in the sauce; it’s giving “Swarm.”
Meghann Cuniff, the journalist that kept social media informed during the Megan Thee Stallion versus Tory Lanez trial, also revealed the judge discovered that Tory was leaking information to DJ Akademiks, which probably played into the judge’s decision to send the diminutive rapper to prison.
