*R&B legend Usher is set to bring his electrifying stage presence to living rooms across the country with “Usher: Rendezvous in Paris,” a new concert film premiering exclusively on BET+ starting May 8.
Per the news release, the film, shot during his eight-night run in Paris at the iconic La Seine Musicale during Paris Fashion Week, offers fans an immersive experience of Usher’s live show magic. Directed by Anthony Mandler, the performance captures the spirit of his celebrated Las Vegas residencies while blending in the elegance and allure of Paris.
More than just a concert, “Rendezvous in Paris” offers a cinematic showcase of Usher’s chart-topping hits like “Yeah!”, “My Boo,” and “U Got It Bad.” Audiences will also get a behind-the-scenes look at the artist’s life offstage. The film incorporates innovative visuals, never-before-seen costumes, and cutting-edge lighting effects to create a true spectacle.
“I’m happy to be partnering with BET+ to bring the celebration of my 30-year career to you, the fans, to enjoy from the comfort of your homes,” said Usher, whose influence has spanned three decades and includes over 80 million records sold and eight GRAMMY Awards.

BET+ Executive VP and GM Jason Harvey called the project “a cultural moment,” adding, “USHER: RENDEZVOUS IN PARIS is more than a concert film—it’s a cultural moment that reflects the kind of bold, high-impact storytelling our audience expects from BET+.”
The production comes from a powerhouse team including Arcovision, Kingdom Films, Laffitte Group Productions, and Sony Music Vision, with contributions from longtime collaborators and major players across the music and film industries.
Following a year that’s already seen Usher headline the Super Bowl halftime show (in 2024) and drop his independent album Coming Home, “Rendezvous in Paris” continues to solidify his legacy as a global icon in both music and culture.
