However, the tide soon turns as religious and political leaders plot against him, setting the stage for his final Passover meal. The stakes have never been higher, and the disciples find themselves at a crossroads as they prepare for a future they never expected.
Director Dallas Jenkins has teased that Season 5 will depict “the most important week in history,” setting the stage for Season 6, which will culminate in the crucifixion. “Season 6 is the most important day in history,” Jenkins stated, hinting at the emotional depth the series is about to reach.
