*The Braxton family returns to We TV with the second season of their hit reality series “The Braxtons,” premiering on Friday, October 10.
Fans can also stream the show on ALLBLK and AMC+. The newly released trailer teases a season filled with emotional highs and lows, from career milestones to career wins and deep rifts that threaten to fracture the family. Following the success of Season 1, which ranked as WeTV’s top original series of the season and #2 among Black audiences aged 25-54, the show promises an even bolder exploration of the Braxtons’ lives.

“In Season 2, Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar, and Ms. Evelyn reunite with hopes of healing after tragedy, but life throws more curveballs than ever before,” per the synopsis. “While Towanda plans the wedding of her dreams, the family is rocked by medical emergencies, explosive emotional confrontations, and the fallout from a public scandal that threatens to divide them for good.”
Last season, Ms. Evelyn shared a heartfelt message about the family’s journey, saying, “Thank you all for sharing our lives. I hope that through each one of our experiences, you’ll grow with us. Inspiring you in your endeavors, and teaching you the importance of family, love, and experiencing life. Remember, we’re not perfect, we’re only human. Look at God.”
The series, a continuation of the family’s legacy from “Braxton Family Values,” which aired 148 episodes over seven seasons, offers an intimate look at their triumphs and struggles.
Brett Dismuke, Head of Content for We TV and ALLBLK, emphasized the show’s significance, stating, “It is not overstating things to say this is one of the most significant developments in the history of WE tv and a moment the fans have been waiting for since the final episode of Braxton Family Values aired on December 17, 2020.”

He added, “The Braxtons are one of the founding families of reality television and WE tv viewers were along for the ride through every moment of their original pioneering series, which spanned 148 unforgettable episodes. We are thrilled to welcome them back and once again be able to share these dynamic relationships and all the highs, lows, triumphs, setbacks and drama that fall in between.”
