*The debut teaser for the highly anticipated finale of “Stranger Things” has arrived, with the fifth and final season set to release this fall in three exciting installments.
Fans can mark their calendars for November 26, 2025, when the first four episodes debut, followed by three more on December 25, and the grand finale on New Year’s Eve, all releasing at 5:00 p.m. PST on Netflix. Global release times vary, so viewers worldwide can check local schedules to join the Hawkins crew for their last stand.
Per Tudum, “Stranger Things 5” is set in the fall of 1987. “Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown,” the official synopsis reads.
“Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.”

The season promises to unravel lingering mysteries, particularly about the Upside Down’s enigmatic origins. Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer have teased major revelations, drawing from a 25-page mythology document crafted for Netflix during Season 1.
“The last remaining questions that are answered in that document, we’ve punted a couple of those to have some big reveals in Season 5,” Ross said, hinting at a deeper dive into the alternate dimension’s secrets.
The cast, including Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, and Jamie Campbell Bower as Vecna, is joined by newcomer Linda Hamilton as Dr. Kay.
As the group faces a formidable new threat, the season will demand unity for one final showdown. Available on Netflix, “Stranger Things 5″ is poised to deliver a heart-pounding end to a global phenomenon.
