*20th Century Studios has released the final trailer for “Predator: Badlands,” heralding the return of the iconic sci-fi franchise. Watch the clip above.
Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, known for “Prey” and “10 Cloverfield Lane,” the film seeks to expand the Predator universe while offering fans a fresh narrative. “Predator: Badlands” will hit theaters on November 7, available in IMAX, Dolby Cinema, RealD 3D, Cinemark XD, 4DX, ScreenX, and other premium formats.
Set on a remote, dangerous planet in the future, the story follows a young Predator outcast, played by Dimitrius Schuster-Koloamatangi, who forms an unlikely alliance with Thia, portrayed by Elle Fanning. Together, they embark on a perilous journey to confront the ultimate adversary. The film is produced by John Davis, Dan Trachtenberg, Marc Toberoff, Ben Rosenblatt, and Brent O’Connor.
The final trailer highlights a new kind of Predator, diverging from the traditional monstrous humanoid that has defined the franchise. It emphasizes the partnership between Thia and the young Predator as they face a far more formidable threat, giving audiences a glimpse of the high-stakes adventure to come.
