*Rapper Offset recently took to X to express his frustration after noticing his three-year-old son, Wave, sporting the same braid style as Cardi B’s new partner, NFL player Stefon Diggs.
As Vibe reports, the 33-year-old hip-hop star didn’t hold back, posting, “Now when somebody die for playing with my son then call me the crash out,” and later adding, “Idc how I look trolling wit my kid ends bad.”
The viral images of Wave and Diggs, 31, with identical hairstyles stirred up fans, prompting Offset’s sharp response. According to Page Six, Wave has worn the braids since April, while Diggs recently debuted the look at a New England Patriots training session.
Meanwhile, Cardi B has been vocal about her struggles with Offset during their ongoing divorce, filed in August 2024 after six years of marriage. In a recent X Spaces rant, the 32-year-old Grammy winner detailed the financial strain of raising their three children—Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and Blossom, 8 months.
She outlined expenses like $45,000 yearly for Kulture’s private school, $35,000 for Wave’s education, $10,000 monthly for a driver, and $3,000 weekly for a babysitter. “I bought that s–t with my sweat and tears,” Cardi said, accusing Offset of leaving her to cover the costs alone.

The tension escalated when Offset, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, requested spousal support, per TMZ. Cardi refuted claims of limiting his access to their kids, stating, “Kiari is allowed to see my kids,” and alleging he’s only seen Blossom “only like five times.”
She vented, “I want you to die. But I want you to die f–king slow!” as their public feud intensified. She accused her ex of neglecting their children’s financial and emotional needs.
“It’s not my fault you don’t want to f–king fly to New York!” she added, refuting claims of restricted access.
