*Peacock is continuing its look into the lives of Nelly and Ashanti, officially renewing “Nelly and Ashanti: We Belong Together” for a second season, Deadline reports. The decision follows a strong reception for the series, which quickly became one of the platform’s standout unscripted releases.
First released on June 26, 2025, the eight-episode debut season introduced audiences to a more personal side of the couple. The show performed well for the streamer, ranking as its second-highest-reaching freshman unscripted original and establishing a solid foundation for future episodes.
New installments are already moving forward, with production scheduled to begin this month. The next season is expected to arrive later this year, continuing the story as the couple navigates both their private lives and public personas.
Central to the series is their role as parents, with their young son now entering an active toddler stage. Alongside family responsibilities, the show captures how they manage demanding careers and ongoing business ventures while maintaining a presence in the spotlight.
