*Three women were arrested at Miami International Airport after a dispute over carry-on luggage disrupted a Frontier Airlines flight to Philadelphia on March 29.
Nafisa Dockery, Dionjana Cochran, and Davana Cochran face charges including trespassing on property after warning and resisting an officer without violence. Nafisa Dockery also faces a battery charge. All three have pleaded not guilty, according to court records obtained by Oxygen.com.
A Frontier employee noticed that the women had paid for only one of their two carry-on bags and asked them to pay the additional fee. The women allegedly refused, leading to a verbal confrontation. Nafisa reportedly told her friends, “We don’t have to listen. Let’s go,” according to the arrest affidavit.

The group then allegedly bypassed a door labeled “Restricted area, authorized personnel only” and boarded the plane. Flight staff informed the women that their boarding passes had been denied and instructed them to exit. Even after police arrived and issued a trespass warning, the women reportedly refused to leave the aircraft.
During the arrest, Nafisa allegedly spat on another woman. Deputies attempting to handcuff the trio inside the airport said all three resisted before they could be restrained. Footage shared on TikTok captured the women being led through the airport by law enforcement.
The altercation delayed the flight for over an hour. The women are scheduled to appear in court later this month on April 22.
The case underscores the importance of complying with airline policies and following law enforcement instructions. Incidents like this demonstrate how disruptive behavior can escalate in an airport setting and the role of security and flight crews in maintaining order and passenger safety.
