*Football and hip-hop collide tonight as Method Man joins former New York Jets star Bart Scott on the latest episode of “NFL Classics: After Further Review.” The new series, produced by VICE Sports in partnership with Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions and NFL Films, airs at 9 p.m. ET on VICE TV.
The episode revisits the Jets’ dramatic upset of the New England Patriots in the 2010 AFC Divisional Round. Method Man, a lifelong Jets fan and New York native, brings his passion for the team to the broadcast. Earlier this month, he was inducted into the Jets Fan Hall of Fame.
The six-part series debuted on September 3 and is hosted by NFL Network’s Kyle Brandt. Each episode breaks down one of the NFL’s most unforgettable games, blending original game footage with real-time commentary, behind-the-scenes stories, and candid reactions from players and celebrity fans. Manning himself appears at the start of every episode to offer reflections on the featured game.

The premiere episode featured Cowboys legends Michael Irvin and Emmitt Smith revisiting their iconic comeback victory in the 1995 NFC Championship Game. Future installments will include matchups like Super Bowl XXXIV with Kurt Warner and Cedric the Entertainer on September 24 and the 2006 Monday Night Miracle between the Bears and Cardinals with Brian Urlacher on October 1.
Brandt described the show as more than just a game breakdown. “We’re not just breaking down game tape. We’re bringing these games to life with the stories, characters, and energy that made them legendary. It’s like a real-time documentary, and it’s electric to watch.”
Tonight’s episode puts a spotlight on the Jets’ stunning 28-21 playoff victory over Tom Brady’s Patriots, a game remembered for Scott’s fiery postgame interview. With Method Man’s fandom and Scott’s insider perspective, the episode promises an authentic and entertaining look back at one of the franchise’s most memorable moments.
