*During a live taping of the show “It Is What It Is” on Tuesday (Sept. 16), tensions rose when boxer Adrien Broner repeatedly disrespected co-host Treasure “Stat Baby” Wilson. The incident prompted host Cam’ron to remove Broner from the set mid-show.
As Billboard reports, Broner was initially invited to discuss the recent fight between Canelo Álvarez and Terence “Bud” Crawford in Las Vegas. However, during the conversation, he shifted his attention to Wilson, asking about her weight and making comments about her appearance. “What you weigh, Stat?” Broner asked. “I love you, I swear to God. Ay Stat, could you stop smiling? … I’m mesmerized by Stat.”
Cam’ron stepped in and warned Broner to stop, reminding him that Wilson’s boyfriend was present on set. When Broner ignored the warning, Cam’ron took decisive action. “We gon’ have to ask you to go, my n—a. I’ma pay you for your time for being here. I appreciate you and I love you, my n—a. I asked you the first time,” he said. “I don’t have no problems with you, but I’ma pay you for your time, but you can’t violate.”

Cam’ron pulled out a bag of cash and counted the payment owed to Broner before escorting him out. “I told you n—s boyfriends was here, but I appreciate your time,” he added. “But I’m not gonna sit here and not value your time neither.”
The confrontation sparked a wave of reactions online. Many viewers praised Cam’ron for standing up for his co-host. The Ringer’s Van Lathan commented, “Seeing someone protect and value their lady cohosts is dope.”
