*Luis Guzmán didn’t hold back when discussing his past co-stars on a recent episode of “Hot Ones.”
Joined by his “Wednesday” castmates, including Jenna Ortega and Emma Myers, the 68-year-old actor was asked to describe former colleagues in one word. While he praised Adam Sandler as “amazing” and Catherine Zeta-Jones as “bellísima,” Guzmán’s response to Jennifer Lopez, his co-star in the 1998 film “Out of Sight,” was a dismissive shrug and a curt “OK.” Watch the moment via the clip above.
As Page Six reports, fans on YouTube couldn’t get enough of Guzmán’s blunt jab at Lopez. One commenter wrote, “The J.lo jab had me weak. I wasn’t expecting that blunt of an answer but then again it’s Luis.” Others described the exchange as “hilarious,” with many admitting they were “crying laughing” over the unexpected shade. Guzmán, who portrayed Chino in the Lopez-led film, offered no further explanation for his pointed response.
Meanwhile, Netflix has confirmed that “Wednesday,” the hit series starring Ortega as the iconic Wednesday Addams, will return for a third season. The announcement comes as Season 2, split into two parts, rolls out, with the first part released on August 6, 2025, and the second set for September 3, 2025.
“The undeniable impact of Wednesday resonated immediately with fans worldwide, driving it to the top of our charts as our most popular English language TV show, and sparking cultural trends,” said Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria, per TV Insider.
The show’s creators, Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, are thrilled about the renewal. “It’s been a dark delight to watch Wednesday cast her spell over audiences across the globe — one deadpan quip at a time,” they said.
Season 2 dives deeper into the Addams Family lore and Nevermore Academy, with Guzmán reprising his role as Gomez alongside Zeta-Jones as Morticia. The showrunners promise Season 3 will uncover “more of the school’s sinister secrets” and delve further into the Addams family’s cryptic past.
While plot details for Season 3 remain under wraps, Gough and Millar are focused on making it the best yet. “Our goal for Season 3 is the same as it is for every season: to make it the best season of Wednesday we possibly can,” Gough stated. Millar teased, “We will be seeing more Addams Family members and learning more family secrets in Season 3!”
With no premiere date set, fans eagerly await Wednesday’s next chapter at Nevermore.
