*The action-packed final season of “Power Book IV: Force” arrived on November 7, setting the stage for the explosive conclusion to Tommy Egan’s reign in Chicago.
New episodes roll out every Friday exclusively on the STARZ app and across all STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms. As the series enters its last chapter, Lili Simmons returns as Claudia Flynn, a character whose ambition and pain collide more intensely than ever before.
Reflecting on where Claudia stands at the top of Season Three, Simmons says her character’s lifelong fight for recognition remains at the core of her arc. “All she ever wanted was for a man to see her and respect her and know that she has the ability to be in this world and in the game. Because if she had that, she needed someone to guide her, and it just wasn’t there. And going into this season, she is broken. She is in prison. She needs to get out so she can get started. And that’s her main goal.”

This season pushes every character in “Force” to their limits. Tommy’s determination to cement himself as Chicago’s kingpin forces him into shifting alliances and dangerous conflicts with Diamond and Jenard Sampson, the Feds, Miguel’s crew, and the Marquez Cartel. With the city tightening around him, Tommy must balance survival with protecting the people he cares about — including Mireya Garcia. The cast this season includes Joseph Sikora, Isaac Keys, Kris D. Lofton, Manuel Eduardo Ramirez, Carmela Zumbado, Adrienne Walker, Shane Harper, Miriam A. Hyman, Anthony Fleming III, and Lucien Cambric.
When asked which themes are driving Claudia this time around — power, loyalty, revenge, survival, or redemption — Simmons doesn’t hesitate. “Revenge. And power.” That pursuit clashes with Claudia’s evolving emotional life, including her relationship with Elyse, the person she cares for most on the outside.
“I think you’re going to see her having this push and pull emotionally, of the only person on the outside is her girlfriend, Elyse, who she actually loves. But she wants power more. She’s more for herself than she is for love. But Elyse is probably the closest thing to true love she’s ever had. So you’re going to see a lot of emotion from that and the struggle Claudia has, pushing and pulling. Also kind of with her brother… feeling like she may have messed up with him and trying to mend those fences as well.”
As the Flynn empire collapses, Claudia’s sense of identity becomes even more fragile. Yet Simmons says her character remains fiercely committed to what she believes she deserves. “I think she still thinks, I’m going to get out of here, and I’m going to protect the Flynn dynasty 100%. You know, that’s her goal. She wants to be Queen Flynn. She wants to bring it back up. She wants to take over Chicago and get Tommy out.”
Tommy Egan, in many ways, has become Claudia’s greatest threat. Simmons emphasizes that even outside the walls of her prison cell, Tommy looms over every move her character makes. “Outside of getting out of prison, I would say the challenge is how do I take down Tommy Egan and get him done and dusted? He came into the city and blew up everything, proper Tommy style. I think that’s her biggest obstacle.”
As audiences head into the final stretch of the “Power” Universe’s Chicago saga, Simmons hopes viewers see the deeper motivations that shaped Claudia from the beginning.
“I hope that people realize or remember throughout the show that all she wants is love and respect and someone to help her get there. I think she would have had more loyalty if her father hadn’t shut her down, if her brother hadn’t shut her down. So I hope that people realize that’s all she ever really wanted.”
