*Kevin Hart is stepping out of the spotlight to shine it squarely on his son. The 46-year-old comedian and actor used Instagram to honor Hendrix Hart, his eldest child, after the 18-year-old senior locked in his future as a collegiate athlete at the University of Tennessee.
The post featured Hendrix in his official uniform, paired with a caption: “Proud of you, son…. The sky is the limit!!!!! Continue to raise your personal bar…. I can’t wait to see what you do next!!!! We all love you champ…,” Hart wrote.
The accolades Hendrix has stacked up on the track speak for themselves. According to PARADE, the Sierra Canyon standout posted a 200m dash time of 21.35 seconds, shattering his school’s previous record and landing him among the top 30 sprinters in California during his junior year. His competitive résumé also includes a first-place finish at the Great Southwest Classic in the 200m and a runner-up showing at the 2025 CIF Southern Section Division Finals.

Hart is a father of four. He and ex-wife Torrei Hart raised Hendrix and eldest daughter, Heaven Leigh Hart, together. His two youngest children — eight-year-old Kenzo Kash and five-year-old Kaori Mai — were born during his marriage to Eniko Parrish Hart.
Hart has been vocal about the kind of father he aspires to be. In a 2025 sit-down with PEOPLE, he described his parenting philosophy with characteristic honesty.
“I think as parents we all give crash courses and what we deem to be education or great direction,” Hart said.
“You can only hope that your kids are picking up as much as you’re putting down. I can just hope and pray that the example that I think I’m being is the example that I really am being and all my time and all my energy that I’m throwing to them on a day-to-day basis is not going unnoticed,” he added.
