*Jack Ryan is back — and the stakes have never been higher.
Prime Video has released the trailer for “Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War,” a feature film that picks up where the beloved four-season series left off, and from the first frame, it is clear this chapter hits differently.
John Krasinski returns as the title character, pulled back into the field when a covert international mission spirals into a full-scale crisis. Facing a rogue black-ops unit that appears to anticipate his every move, Ryan is once again caught between duty and survival — with far more on the line than a mission brief.

He won’t be going it alone. Fan favorites Michael Kelly and Wendell Pierce return as CIA operative Mike November and James Greer, respectively, anchoring the film with the same chemistry that made the series appointment viewing. Their presence signals that “Ghost War” is less a reboot and more a natural evolution — the same world, raised to a higher voltage.
The most intriguing addition to the roster is Sienna Miller as MI6 officer Emma Marlowe. The trailer positions her not as a supporting player but as Ryan’s true equal — sharp, composed, and built for high-pressure situations. Her dynamic with Krasinski hints at a partnership that could reshape how Ryan moves through the field going forward.
Director Andrew Bernstein brings a cinematic scale to the project while preserving the tight, character-driven tension that defined the series. The action is broader, the pacing relentless, and the personal stakes run deeper than any previous mission.
At its heart, “Ghost War” is a story about reckoning — with past choices, evolving threats, and the true cost of a life spent in the shadows.
“Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan: Ghost War” premieres globally on Prime Video May 20. Watch the official trailer below.
