*Idris Elba and his wife Sabrina have reportedly contacted law enforcement following months of alleged harassment. The couple has allegedly been targeted by an obsessive individual through their personal email addresses in what sources describe as distressing cyberstalking incidents.
According to The Sun, the harassment reportedly began in September and continued as recently as October 21. Authorities have been made aware of the situation affecting the Hollywood star. A source told The Sun on Sunday: “These events were seriously distressing for Idris and his family.”
The decision to involve police came after the stalker’s actions escalated. According to the source, Elba felt compelled to take formal action to safeguard his household. “He had no choice but to report it to the authorities because it had gone too far,” the source said. “When Sabrina was brought into it, that was clearly the final straw for him. He did what he felt he had to do to protect his wife, and his family.”

Meanwhile, Apple TV has announced the return of Elba’s pulse-pounding thriller “Hijack,” confirming a January 14, 2026, premiere for the second season. The eight-episode series will debut with two episodes followed by weekly releases through February 25, 2026.
The new season shifts its setting from the skies to the underground. In season two, a Berlin train and its passengers are taken hostage, setting off a desperate rescue effort as chaos unfolds. At the center of the crisis is Sam Nelson, played by Elba, whose every decision carries life-or-death consequences, per the series synopsis.
Season two brings back several key cast members from the first season, including Christine Adams, Max Beesley, and Archie Panjabi. Joining them are Christian Näthe, Clare-Hope Ashitey, Lisa Vicari, Toby Jones, Karima McAdams, and Christiane Paul.
