In two separate clips, Koiyan is seen wearing scrubs and a stethoscope and inappropriately dancing on top of mentally disabled men at an assisted living facility, fueling public outrage. In response, Koiyan mocked the backlash and noted that the man didn’t complain.
“It’s not what it looks like, trust and believe, angles play a part,” she said in a video statement. “A lot of people want to comment about sexual assault, rape, all type of dumb s**t. Trust and believe, he is verbal and I got proof,” she added before showing a clip of the same man talking.
“He looks very aware and comfortable to me so y’all need to stop jumping to conclusions. I do see how it looks but trust me it’s not that,” Koiyan added.

After social media users alerted local authorities and the FBI about the clips, Koiyan was charged with felony exploitation of a disabled person after she filmed and shared the incident on social media.
“On January 23, 2025, the Loganville Police Department was made aware of a ‘viral’ video posted to social media depicting a female dancing in a provocative manner above a disabled person, who was seated in a chair,” authorities said in a press release. “A criminal investigation was initiated, which resulted in the execution this morning of both a search warrant and arrest warrant for the female.”

Authorities became aware of Koiyan’s video after it gained significant traction on TikTok before being deleted, according to local Fox affiliate WAGA. Loganville Police Chief Dick Lowry stated that the footage showing the disabled man in the chair provided enough evidence to charge Koiyan with exploitation of a disabled person.
“When I watched it, disgusted is the only word I know,” Loganville Police Chief Dick Lowry said. “He is disabled and then making the video and posting it to social media for your own benefit is the exploitation of that person.”
