*It must be nice. Real nice when you have someone else to take care of the little things in life, like get your missing passport from your kids’ nanny. According to Page Six, Hannah Bronfman did just that with enlisted her kids’ nanny to bring her passport to the airport after forgetting to bring it with her traveling from New York City to Houston.
Taking to social media, Bronfman set the record straight, saying she wasn’t expecting an ID check when she went through security.
“I show up to the airport 20 minutes before I start boarding,” the 37-year-old heiress shared in a video posted to her TikTok on Nov. 13. “I’m going through [security] and all of a sudden, the system wants an update for my identification.”
Upon looking for the passport in her wallet, Bronfman realized her husband, Brendan Fallis, had her license with him in Kentucky, a long way from the airport. Attempts she made to prove who she were unsuccessful.
“Because I did not arrive to the airport an hour before boarding time, I am denied such verification,” said Bronfman, who booked a later flight to Houston without first class.

“I will be flying economy, which is just par for the course,” the mother of two said, adding that the treated herself to a gingerbread oat milk chai iced latte from Starbucks to “cheer [herself] up.”
Fortunately, Bronfman’s nanny was on her job at the angel investor’s home. Using an Uber the nanny managed to send Bronfman’s passport while she waited at the airport.
“She put my passport in an Uber so I’m waiting to pick it up,” Bronfman explained. “I guess I’ll update my information on Clear and will get on this next flight.”
Capturing the moment, the “Do What Feels Good” author filmed the passport retrieval, with the rideshare vehicle pulling up to the airport and opened the door to reveal missing passport, which arrived wrapped in tin foil inside of a paper bag: “The sandwich move,” Bronfman jokingly remarked as she unwrapped the tinfoil surrounding her passport. “Hell yeah, alright. Let’s go!”

Armed with her passport and a desire to leave, Bronfman ended her video, filming herself boarding her flight to Texas with her carry-on luggage, captioning the clip,
“See you soon Houston!” she captioned her clip.
Prior to her passport dust-up, Bronfman detailed what happened with her ID, stating she was she was originally supposed to fly first class. The status, she added, came courtesy of the people over the 2024 AfroTech Conference, an event she was traveling to speak at. The author was slated to talk in a fireside chat on the topic, “Funding Wellness Tech: Investing in Purpose-Driven Health Solutions.”
“I’m anticipating all the trolls being like, ‘Oh, you fly first class,’” Bronfman said. “I’m actually going for a work event. I’m speaking at a conference, and yes, when you have work events that are covering your travel and accomodation, you get to fly first class.”

Despite the convenience of first class, Bronfman simply preferred to “just get there” via what was available at the time.
“Just get me there. I want to get settled at the hotel. I want to have an early night before my panel in the morning,” she said.” And I didn’t want to take a $100 car back to the city, which, I already now have to pay an extra hundred-dollar car to get my passport here. So, at least I got a flight credit,” she continued, adding, “Girl math.
