According to the New York Post, the 31-year-old Grammy nominee was performing “Is There Somewhere” along the front barrier when an audience member reached up her leather skirt and groped her buttocks. Security personnel quickly intervened by swatting the person’s hand away, though Halsey appeared unaware of the assault and continued singing. Watch the moment via the X/Twitter clip below.
Footage of the incident circulated online, generating outrage among the artist’s supporters. A fan account shared the video on X with commentary stating, “I can’t even believe i have to say this. Respect Halsey and DO NOT touch her or anyone like this without their consent. You people are unbelievable.”

Reactions included one fan writing “F—ing GROSS,” while another stated “Oh that made me sick to my stomach.” Multiple supporters called for permanent exclusion from future performances, with one noting, “Omfg…this person needs to be banned from ever attending a Halsey show again wtf so disrespectful.”
The singer is currently touring North America and Australia for her Back to Badlands tour. The trek launched in Los Angeles on October 14 and continues through February 20 in Melbourne, Australia.
