*Conservative commentator Candace Owens publicly criticized President Donald Trump on April 5, describing him as ‘deeply unwell’ and warning that world leaders should take note of his state of mind.
According to the International Business Times, her comments came after Trump issued a statement threatening strikes on Iranian infrastructure. Owens called the administration “satanic,” referred to Trump as a “Mad King,” and urged Congress to remove him.
“All of our lives may depend upon other countries realizing that Trump is deeply unwell and surrounded by religious fanatics who have convinced him that he is a messiah,” she wrote.
The post is a far cry from where Owens stood not long ago. For years, she was among the loudest and most visible supporters of Trump’s political rise, putting her platform behind his campaigns and defending his record at every turn. That loyalty earned her a prominent place in conservative media circles.
