*Bruno Mars’ new solo album, “The Romantic,” has been driving his chart success in 2026, yet his lead single, “I Just Might,” remains just shy of the top spot on the Adult R&B Airplay chart.
The track debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, giving Mars his first chart-topping debut on the flagship U.S. songs list, while the album’s second single, “Risk It All,” is steadily climbing multiple charts. According to Forbes, after 11 weeks on the Adult R&B Airplay chart, “I Just Might” holds firm at No. 2, blocked once again by Tank’s “Control,” which continues to dominate adult R&B radio. Tank has accumulated 11 No. 1s out of 28 chart appearances, including several two-week runs, making him a consistent barrier for Mars on this chart.
Mars’ overall momentum, however, remains undeniable. His signature blend of throwback R&B, soul, and pop continues to resonate with fans, keeping “The Romantic” at the center of 2026’s biggest music conversations.
Adding to the excitement, Mars is preparing to hit the road on a six-month stadium tour supporting his first solo album in nearly a decade. The Live Nation-produced trek kicks off April 10 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and will visit nearly 40 venues across North America, Europe, and the U.K., including Rogers Stadium in Toronto, Wembley Stadium in London, MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, and SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. Select cities, including Paris, Amsterdam, London, New Jersey, and Los Angeles, will feature double shows.
Anderson .Paak will perform as DJ Pee .Wee on every date, while Victoria Monét, Raye, and Leon Thomas will open shows in select markets. Tickets are onsale now.
With a No. 1 debut single, a second hit climbing the charts, and a major global tour on the horizon, Mars is proving that even a runner-up spot on adult R&B radio doesn’t slow his momentum in 2026.
