The episode, titled “Wedding Countdown,” shifts to a hectic week for the family as Towanda and Sean try to find a potential date for Miss E before the ceremony. Towanda also learns whether her cast can come off in time for the big day. Meanwhile, Trina attempts to sell a house to Faizon Love, and Tamar begins questioning the direction of her relationship with her sisters.
This season of “The Braxtons” continues to follow the family’s effort to reconnect after immense loss. Although they hope for healing, “the drama is non-stop as Toni, Towanda, Trina, Tamar, and Ms. Evelyn reunite with hopes of healing after tragedy, but life throws more curveballs than ever before.” Wedding planning, unexpected health concerns, and an intense emotional blow-up test their ability to stay united.
The show remains a Friday-night force for We TV. Season 1 stands as a top cable original on the night, becoming “We TV’s most-watched Season 1 original series upon its debut and ranked #2 amongst Black audiences ages 25-54.”
