*A 30-year-old woman from the Bronx, Brianna J. Rivers, was arrested on April 10 and charged with second-degree assault after striking Savannah Craven Antao, an anti-abortion activist and Live Action reporter, during a heated confrontation about abortion.
The incident, captured on video, showed the two women arguing before the altercation turned physical. The NYPD confirmed the arrest to the NYPost. Craven Antao celebrated the news on Instagram, stating, “Just got word from detectives Brianna J Rivers was arrested! God is good!” and thanked the 28th precinct with hashtags like “#BlueLivesMatter” and “#JusticeIsServed.”
Rivers, who allegedly said foster children should be killed, expressed regret for the violence but claimed provocation by Craven Antao. In a Facebook post, she wrote, “To Savannah, I sincerely apologize but cannot sit around and allow you to continue pushing this one sided narrative. I understand hands being put on someone is never the answer, but throwing rocks and hiding hands is worse.”
She accused Craven Antao of being a “professional antagonist” and demanded that the full footage be released. On Instagram, Rivers defended her character, saying, “I will not allow my image to be defamed by this woman’s actions. Anyone who knows me knows how respectful I am, I don’t even litter, there’s no way you believe I’m punching people for disagreeing with my POV.”
Rivers managed to raise more than $8,000 on GoFundMe for her legal expenses. However, the platform later shut down the fundraiser, citing a violation of its terms of service, and refunded all donors.

Rivers claims she lost her job and that Craven Antao’s “trolls have taken this too far.”
“This matter is suppose to be dealt with in court but this woman has been stalking my social media platforms to continue antagonizing and harassing me,” Rivers wrote on Facebook.
“It’s one thing to be upset about what was done but cyber bullying , stalking, doxxing, are all very uncalled for,” she added.
