*With gas prices climbing steadily across the country, Amazon is giving Prime members a way to offset some of the pain at the pump.
According to AAA, the national average for regular unleaded gas has reached $4.13 per gallon, with California drivers facing prices inching toward $6.00. Industry observers expect no quick turnaround, with further increases likely before consumers see any meaningful relief.
Amazon has partnered with BP to offer Prime members savings of up to 20¢ off per gallon every Friday through a promotion running from April 3 through May 29, 2026, Men’s Journal reports. The deal is exclusively a Friday offer, with each week’s discount available just once per member during the promotional period.
Getting started requires a few simple steps. Members must download and create a free account with the earnify app, an official app from BP, then link that account to their Amazon Prime membership. From there, the app can be used to locate nearby participating stations, and the discount is redeemed using your phone number at the pump or navigating the transaction through the app itself.
The 20¢ per gallon savings is made up of three layers: a 5¢ baseline discount built into the earnify app, an additional 5¢ for Prime members, and an extra 10¢ added during the promotional period. Participating locations include BP, Amoco, and select ampm and Thorntons stations across the United States.
Amazon outlined the offer directly, stating: “Every Friday from 4/3/26-5/29/26 only, Prime members in the U.S. can save a total of 20¢ per gallon at BP, Amoco, and participating ampm and Thorntons sites.”
Once the promotion wraps at the end of May, the bigger discount goes away, but members with linked accounts can still count on a 10¢ per gallon reduction at eligible locations moving forward.
