*Allison Holker is ready to begin a new chapter. The dancer and former “So You Think You Can Dance” star took to Instagram on February 12 to announce her engagement to Adam Edmunds, sharing multiple photographs from his proposal.
“It was the most romantic night of my life!” Holker wrote in her announcement. “I am so in love with you Adam. Baby, I am forever grateful for you and the impact you have had in my life and my kids’ lives. I am a better person because of you. You helped me find me again and showed me how to love. Every morning I wake up I feel safe knowing you are my person at my side. You and your kids coming into our lives has been the biggest blessing.”
Holker was previously married to choreographer Stephen “tWitch” Boss, who died by suicide in December 2022. The couple wed in 2013 and had three children together: Weslie, 17; Maddox, 9; and Zaia, 6. Boss gained widespread recognition working alongside Ellen DeGeneres, where he served as DJ and eventually co-executive producer on her talk show.

Holker published a memoir last year titled “This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light,” in which she recounted Boss’ final days and disclosed his alleged substance use. Members of Boss’ family responded with public backlash, condemning her decision to write about him through posts on social media.
In a conversation with PEOPLE, Holker opened up about her relationship with Edmunds. “Adam has been the most magical person in my life,” she told the outlet.
“He really helped me find myself again. He really saw so much in me and helped me see it again, and he’s just been so supportive to me. He’s been supportive to my children. He’s someone that just brings that light and that spark out of me again, and it’s so wonderful to feel that way, and to celebrate my life with someone else is just really something that I’m really grateful for.”
In her engagement post, Holker wrote, “Adam, I will always support you, hold you and love you! You are my everything Adam.”
