*Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson is aiming for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ chances of receiving a presidential pardon, leveraging his influence to remind President Donald Trump of Combs’ past slights.
Amid Combs’ ongoing trial for serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering, 50 Cent, a longtime rival, has publicly declared his intent to sway Trump against granting clemency, Mediaite reports. The rapper’s campaign intensified after Trump hinted at the possibility of a pardon during a May 30 White House press interaction.
“Nobody’s asked. But I know people are thinking about it. I know they’re thinking about it. I think some people have been very close to asking,” Trump remarked when questioned about Combs. While acknowledging their friendship soured after his political career began due to the “really bad things” Combs said about him, Trump added he might consider pardoning someone “mistreated.”
This prompted a reaction from 50 Cent, who wrote on Instagram, “He said some really bad things about Trump, it’s not ok. I’m gonna reach out so he knows how I feel about this guy.”
In a follow-up post, 50 Cent argued that a pardon for Combs would derail the president’s mission. “Donald doesn’t take well to disrespect, and doesn’t forget who chooses to go against him,” he wrote.

“While working tirelessly to make America great again there is no room for distraction,” the hip-hop star added.
The feud, rooted in a rivalry spanning nearly two decades, has been amplified by Combs’ legal troubles, with authorities alleging he ran a criminal enterprise involving coercion and abuse.
50 Cent previously shared on social a Variety report highlighting that his documentary project about Combs has found a home at Netflix.
“I been telling y’all about all this weird s**t, I don’t do NO puffy party’s,” 50 Cent wrote in the caption. “You didn’t believe me ? but I bet you believe me now!”
Combs faces up to life in prison if convicted of his indictment in the Southern District of New York on counts of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty.
