*The last time I hopped into the seat of a Genesis GV80 was 2024. So, I got the chance to do some driving in the 2026 Genesis GV80 Coupe 3.5T Prestige AWD in LA and boy did this vehicle change my life, just a little. This Genesis kicked class and style up a notch with some lovely interior features and continues to deliver on power on the road. Let’s get into it.
The Look: Immediately, the interior hollered! bold, classy, yummy with the red stitching and seatbelts. Red is such a bold statement against dark leather. And something about the red stitching with the crosshatch stitching on the seats says something about speed and power. Needless to say, the interior is doing a whole lot of work in bringing new flavor to the GV series, as if it needed an upgrade at all!
The 2026 Genesis GV80 Coupe 3.5T Prestige AWD is all about comfort as well with customizable seating, heated and ventilated seats for everyone. With plenty of space in the rear for long legged folk, I was thoroughly impressed with this design. Additionally, one of the most important features in any vehicle is the sound. Music was crisp, and well balanced throughout the cabin, giving everyone the perfect soundscape for long drives.
Now, the curb appeal is unmatched. This big-bodied coupe is giving thick and unwavering. She’s got presence and is not shy about it. With her aerodynamic dropping curve and cute fin flip at the end, she’s serving all the looks of a Jetsons’ style futuristic classiness.

Built with a supercharged twin-turbo V6 engine, she’s packing all the punch and getting to business with force. The 2026 Genesis GV80 Coupe 3.5T Prestige AWD isn’t shy to take ownership of the road and handles top speeds and unpredictable traffic conditions comfortably. With all that power, it’s a fun vehicle to drive and whip around obstacles.
The Tech: Featuring a 27-inch display, the 2026 Genesis GV80 Coupe 3.5T Prestige AWD is giving a seamless touch-screen dash experience. I love the ease of this screen with easy to manage selection options, clearly labeled and highly reactive. Display screens can often be a distraction and challenge the driving experience. But this one works and is easy to navigate. And guess what? Drivers can wirelessly connect to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I love that for us! In the center console, I appreciate the phone storage space, which helps reduce distractions and keep driver’s phones secure and charged.
As far as safety is concerned, the 2026 Genesis GV80 Coupe 3.5T Prestige AWD is giving top tier tech, though I think the highway driving assist was a bit aggressive. I didn’t check to see if that was adjustable, but it was definitely noticed.
Overall, the 2026 Genesis GV80 Coupe 3.5T Prestige AWD is such a fun vehicle to drive and admire. From the aesthetics to the comfort and technology, it’s a win!
