*Tia Mowry will take viewers inside her post-divorce journey as she navigates singlehood and motherhood in a new reality series.
As we reported earlier, her new unscripted series, “Tia Mowry: My Next Chapter” premieres on Friday, October 4th at 9:30pm ET/PT on We TV with new episodes available on the popular AMC streaming service ALLBLK. Per the news release, this eight-episode reality series dives head-first into the post-divorce, new-lease-on-life universe of the multi-talented star.
Here’s the official synopsis: Tired of people distorting the narrative of her relationships and life, Tia Mowry is removing the filter like never before, while embarking on a fearless and fierce journey of self-discovery post-divorce. Tia was always part of a duo, first as a twin sister, then as a wife…now she’s on her own for the first time in her life. The struggle is real as Tia navigates her newly single status, a new phase of motherhood, as well as building businesses and juggling her ever-evolving career. With each nerve-wracking new hardship, she finds happiness along the way with her village of larger-than-life friends and family in Tia Mowry: My Next Act.

Mowry spoke about the project with People during the BET Awards, saying, “What I love about it is that it’s about inspiring women, people in general, when it comes to their transitions in life,” Mowry told the publication.
“It’s very raw, honest; there’s lots of tears. There’s lots of laughter. There’s lots of fun,” she added about the show.
“I mean, I’m all about being authentic. And I’ve showcased some of my feelings and my emotions on social media, whether that was Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, but there’s nothing like a reality show,” Mowry explained.
“[The show will] basically dive in and show the world who I am as a person. And I really wanted to do this to share my story,” she continued. “I feel like a lot of people were creating narratives without knowing a story and understanding me and understanding my feelings. And this is my opportunity to use that platform to share my truth.”
Mowry previously said in a statement, “I am excited to share more about myself, both personally and professionally. Having been in the public eye for most of my life, things often get misinterpreted or people get misled. I am excited to pull back the curtain on this next chapter of my life.”
