*Jocelyn Wade, the estranged wife of Fani Willis’ special prosecutor Nathan Wade, claims he refuses to pay $4,400 of her medical bills.
According to the Daily Mail, Jocelyn has accused Wade of contempt of court in a new divorce filing. In court papers filed Wednesday, Jocelyn asserts she’s unable to cover the bills on her own since Wade ceased child support payments for their two children.
“Defendant urgently requires medical procedures, namely an endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ultrasound, due to severe physical symptoms she has been enduring,” the filings state.
“These symptoms have significantly impacted her ability to consume most foods, leading to a substantial weight loss.”
Fulton County DA Fani Willis appointed Wade to oversee the prosecution of Donald Trump for attempting to overturn his 2020 election defeat. Nathan is in the midst of a contentious divorce case, where it emerged he had a sexual relationship with Willis. The scandal led to Nathan’s resignation as top prosecutor in the Trump case.
He now faces accusations of contempt of court in a divorce filing by his estranged wife for allegedly refusing to cover her medical bills and pay for their daughter’s rent and college tuition for medical school.

In her filings, Jocelyn states that Wade has violated a temporary order issued by the court necessitating his payment of her medical bills.
The scorned wife added that she cannot pay them due to Wade’s ‘sudden cessation of support’ for their children, which has left her monthly income at less than $1,000 a month.
Jocelyn’s lawyers state her health means she is currently unable to work, which is exacerbating the financial situation.
Jocelyn alleges her medical provider now requires prepayment for appointments. Her lawyers urge the judge to imprison Wade until he covers the medical costs and associated attorney’s fees.
