*With heavy hearts, the entertainment journalism community mourns the passing of Robin Ayers, a dedicated writer/reporter for EURweb.com and a beloved host at KBLA Radio in Los Angeles.

Robin, known for her vibrant personality and passion for storytelling, died on Thursday, December 5, leaving a significant void in the world of entertainment journalism and broadcasting. Robin was 44 (correction notice: earlier it was stated that she was 54).

Robin has been a vital part of the EURweb family since around 2015, where she left a lasting impact through her insightful reporting and engaging presence. EURweb’s founder and publisher, Lee Bailey, expressed his deep sorrow over her passing.

“Along with the EURweb staff/family, I am deeply saddened by the passing of Robin Ayers. Her passion for storytelling and unwavering commitment to truth brought depth and authenticity to her work. She was not just a colleague but a friend, and her impact on EURweb and the lives she touched will never be forgotten.”

Known for her engaging program, The RA Report, which aired weekdays from 6 PM to 7 PM, Robin kept her audience informed on the latest trends and happenings in the entertainment world. Her regular interviews with beloved stars and her ability to connect with listeners made her a beloved figure among fans and industry insiders alike.

KBLA Talk 1580 also shared its grief in a heartfelt announcement, praising Robin as a “bright light” whose radiant smile could be felt through the radio waves. The station acknowledged her immense talent, jovial spirit, and strong family values, particularly honoring her faith in God. They emphasized the importance of supporting her family during this challenging time, especially her husband Rob and twin daughters, Brooklyn and Madison.

As of this posting, her cause of death has not been revealed.

In tribute to Robin’s legacy, KBLA plans to hold a special memorial to celebrate her contributions and the love she shared with her audience.

As friends, colleagues, and listeners navigate this significant loss, Robin Ayers will be remembered not only for her professional achievements but also for the kindness and warmth she brought to those around her. Her voice and spirit will continue to resonate through the airwaves she cherished.
