Born Thomas E. Pough, he’s best known as the legendary DJ of the iconic duo Kool G Rap & DJ Polo. Their collaboration resulted in some of the most groundbreaking tracks of the late ’80s and early ’90s, with albums like “Road to the Riches” and “Wanted: Dead or Alive” becoming staples in hip-hop collections.
