*Doja Cat’s mother has filed for a temporary restraining order against the rapper’s older brother, claiming he is physically and verbally abusive.
As Page Six reports, Doja’s mom, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, filed the documents on Jan. 12 in Los Angeles Superior Court, alleging her son, Raman Dalithando Dlamini, 30, knocked the pop star’s teeth out.
Sawyer noted in the filing that Doja, 28, (real name Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini) needs protection against her brother after he roughed her up and gave her cuts and bruises on her body.
“Raman has verbally assaulted her in a very degrading and demeaning manor [sic],” the filing reads, claiming he has made his sibling feel “unsafe and traumatized.”
Sawyer also alleges that her son has been abusive toward her “several times” and threatened to kill her.

Sawyer was granted restraining orders against her son multiple times, but they expired. Her latest request for temporary court-ordered protection was granted pending a hearing for a permanent restraining order.
However, her request for Doja was denied as the judge said the artist must file her own request for a restraining order against her brother.
The news comes on the heels of the release of the trailer for “Doja Cat: The Scarlet Tour in VR,” premiering in VR on Saturday, January 20th at 5:00pmPT exclusively in Meta Horizon Worlds, produced and directed by The Diamond Bros, in partnership with Meta, according to a press release.
