Sajak has been hosting “Wheel of Fortune” for four decades and according to The Post, he earns an estimated $15 million a year. Apparently, he has previously exhibited strange behavior on the beloved game show.
As The Post reports, in 2021 he mocked a young man’s speech impediment on air.
According to The Post, Sajak once asked longtime letter-turner Vanna White, “Have you ever watched opera in the buff? I’m just curious.”
“Pat has put his foot in it one too many times and offended people with his off-color humor and temperamental behavior,” an insider previously told OK!. “Network brass and top-level producers have come down hard on him and read him the riot act.”
Despite the bad jokes, past contestants and industry insiders claim Sajak is “wonderful to work with.”
“Pat was wonderful to work with … and I have nothing but good things to say about him. He couldn’t have been nicer,” a former “Wheel of Fortune” staffer told The Post.
He told “Entertainment Tonight” in 2021 that he and Vanna White are “certainly closer to the end than the beginning” and that “I’d like to leave before people tune in and look at me and say, ‘Ooh, what happened to him?’”
“I hope you or Pat don’t retire anytime soon. I think if one or both of you would retire that would be the end of the show,” one person wrote in Vanna’s Instagram comments.
Sajak’s recent on-air antics have some believing he’s eyeing retirement. Yep, hopefully, he’ll retire before he’s retired if you get our drift. Think about it. Dude is just straight doing weird sh*** that, if continued, is only gonna lead him down the wrong path at some point.

*According to “Wheel of Fortune” fans, longtime host Pat Sajak has been acting bizarrely on the show lately.
As the New York Post reports, in the past month or so, Sajak has “put a contestant in a chokehold; asked a contestant to remove his shirt, and scolded a contestant who grabbed the envelope in the show’s bonus round,” the outlet writes.
