*The nominations for the 95th Academy Awards were unveiled this morning, with the acclaimed feature “Everything Everywhere All At Once” leading the race with 11 nods.
Angela Bassett is the first actress to be nominated for a Marvel movie with her role in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever”. Meanwhile, some of the biggest Oscar snubs include Viola Davis for her performance in “The Woman King,” Tom Cruise’s role in “Top Gun: Maverick, “Babylon” star Margot Robbie and Will Smith’s slavery movie “Emancipation”.
As you know, Smith will likely be ignored by Academy voters for the next ten years after he was banned from the ceremony for slapping Chris Rock on stage during last year’s awards show.
Jimmy Kimmel will host the 2023 Oscars which will air live from Los Angeles on ABC on March 12 at 5 PM PT/8 PM ET.
