*Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” dominates the Billboard Hot 100 chart as we round out 2023.
Billboard reports that the song has ruled the Hot 100 for over five holiday seasons.
Meanwhile, Carey’s kids, twins Monroe and Moroccan, 12, recently joked on social media that they are sick of listening to their mother’s classic holiday tune.
“All I Want for Christmas Is You” was initially released in 1994 on Carey’s album “Merry Christmas.” The track has since become a holiday anthem, and the global superstar reportedly earns around $3 million yearly from the song.
Billboard reported in December 2022 that the track continues to top the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. In 2021, the song received the Recording Industry Association of America Diamond Award.

Carey released a new music video for her iconic holiday song earlier this month.
People reports that the video features unseen footage from her “Merry Christmas One And All!” tour. MiMi’s kids also make an appearance. Check out the new footage via the YouTube clip below.
The songstress released a mini-documentary on her YouTube channel on Dec. 17, giving fans an “exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the meticulous preparations and magical moments that define the tour,” per the news release, People reports.
