*Da’Naia Jackson has given bombshell tea-spilliage about her relationship with estranged husband and relationship expert Derrick Jaxn, during which she detailed their turbulent years as a couple.
Jackson breaks her silence for the first time since announcing their divorce in December 2022. Speaking to the “Dear Wifey Podcast,” said she first met Derrick when they attended Tuskegee University. The Denver native revealed that three weeks before they met in a Business Calculus class, at the age of 19, she had been raped by another man. Da’Naia said she found herself drawn to Derrick’s charm, charisma and sense of humor. They became a couple and sparked an off and on again relationship for the next nine years.
De’Naia revealed that Derrick had been unfaithful in their relationship, and that she had witnessed his cheating firsthand, even filming some of his infidelities on her phone. It was to the point where she said “I knew some of the women’s bodies better than I knew my own.” Yet, she continued to sleep with Derrick, and willingly chose to be a part of his rotation of women.

Da’Naia also revealed that she had become pregnant during one of their “off-again” periods. Having undergone three previous abortions, she found herself unable to terminate the pregnancy. As their relationship progressed, Da’Naia leaned more and more on Derrick and became isolated from her own family. She said her connection with Derrick’s family and support from his mother became a stabilizing force, and in her distorted view, a sign that she had triumphed over the other women in his life.
