*Busta Rhymes now has two Nupes in the family.

In 2012, the rap legend’s eldest son, 30-year-old T’Ziah Wood-Smith, crossed into the Rho Gamma Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity at Quinnipiac University.

He was followed most recently by Busta’s 22-year-old son Trillian Wood-Smith, who was initiated into the frat’s Epsilon Chapter at Lincoln University, according to photos posted on Instagram by photographer @myeyesvisuals.

In the pics, the “Pass the Courvoisier” rapper shows love to his son Trillian as T’Ziah looks on. The caption reads: “Proud is not even the word…”

T’Ziah graduated from Quinnipiac University with a bachelor’s degree in finance, and currently works in the financial services industry, according to his LinkedIn page. Trillian is now a Spring 2023 initiate of Kappa Alpha Psi, whose members are nicknamed Nupes.

According to its website, the fraternity was founded in 1910 by a group of Black students at Indiana University. “Most of them were working their way through school,” the site states. “The number of places where they might assemble was limited. Realizing that they had no part in the social life of the university and drawn together by common interests, they decided that a Greek-letter fraternity would do much to fill the missing link in their college existence.”

Meanwhile, Busta’s name came up last week during “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” when guest Anthony Mackie cited the rapper as his inspiration for becoming an actor. He recalled being 12-years-old and watching Busta perform on “The Arsenio Hall Show” with his group Leaders of the New School and A Tribe Called Quest.

“Busta comes out to do his verse and he has on a Dr. Seuss hat,” Mackie told Clarkson. “And he goes, ‘Powerful impact, boom goes the cannon,’ and his hat goes [Mackie motions Busta flipping his hat inside out] … And literally the entire audience goes crazy. Like Arsenio runs off the stage. The cameras are shaking. Like, we’re in our living room like, ‘Holy s***!’ And my mom’s standing in the back. I was like, ‘Mom, I wanna be that guy. … And then I met him and I was like, ‘You’re that guy.'”

Not quite as dramatic as Anthony remembers it, but Busta’s hat moment is still part of a classic performance…
