*The massive success of her Renaissance world tour has put Beyoncé on the verge of becoming a billionaire.
Forbes estimates that the singer’s net worth has increased by almost $300 million this year to $800 million. The publication reports that Queen Bey’s wealth results from her music catalog, business holdings, art collection, and personal assets and real estate she shares with her husband, Jay-Z.
According to The New York Times, the 2023 “Renaissance World Tour” wrapped with an estimated $4.5 billion boost to the U.S. economy.
“She’s the most precious gem of a person—warm and open and funny,” pop star Taylor Swift said of Beyonce in a new interview with Town & Country. “And she’s such a great disrupter of music-industry norms. She taught every artist how to flip the table and challenge archaic business practices.”
Swift, who also launched a major tour this year, added, “There were so many stadium tours this summer, but the only ones that were compared were me and Beyoncé. Clearly it’s very lucrative for the media and stan culture to pit two women against each other, even when those two artists in question refuse to participate in that discussion.”
Beyoncé recently thanked fans for the success of her new “Renaissance” concert film.
“I just can’t thank all of you enough for your support. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done because of the short turn around time. I practically slept in the edit, color, and mix sessions,” the global superstar wrote in an Instagram post.
“I love seeing everyone all dressed up in their most opulent lewks in the theaters,” Beyoncé added. “The mute challenges still happening, even in the theater!! Y’all are cracking me up. Please keep that energy going. I can’t wait to see what else yall do 🙂 I also love seeing the positive take aways from people who were not my fans or didn’t yet know my story. The people who had no interest in seeing my shows who have now gained a deeper understanding and respect for all it takes to be a RENAISSANCE woman.”
