THE REAL Welcomes tWitch! And the Hosts Discuss the Royal Family’s Shocking Announcement

*On Thursday, January 9, the ladies of “The Real” discuss the surprising announcement from The Duke and Duchess of Sussex that they are stepping away from their senior positions within the Royal Family. Co-host Loni Love voices her concerns for the future of the couple as well as the monarchy.

The hosts talk about the importance of liking the person you love and co-host Adrienne Houghton reveals that she and her husband Israel are able to endure the ups and downs of marriage because they actually like each other.

Also, co-host Amanda Seales explains why marriage is not a major goal of hers at this point in her life.

And Stephen “tWitch” Boss joins the hosts to chat about Season 3 of Ellen’s Game of Games. He also speaks with the ladies about the recent birth of his baby girl Zaia and how her arrival has increased his love for each member of his family.

tWitch Talks About How The Birth Of His Baby Daughter “Solidified His Tribe”

Jeannie Mai: Congratulations on the arrival of your daughter Zaia!

tWitch: Thank you very much. Thank you, thank you.

Jeannie: What’s it like?

tWitch: It’s, uh, honestly…

Jeannie: Oh my gosh!

Loni Love: Adorable.

tWitch: Yeah, it like… she’s everything. You know, and it’s , and it’s something that I still can’t explain, yet. But…

Tamera Mowry-Housley: Oh my God.

tWitch: This is our third- this is our third child…

(The Real audience applauds)

Tamera: How is it having three?

tWitch: So, um, okay, having three actually it- it just really increased my love for everybody in the family. ‘Cause, you know, for my parents out there, you know, I think there’s like a little moment of time where you go like, “We’re adding in another life”, like, “Let me make sure that it’s balanced for everybody else.” But the moment that they arrive, um, you have such a love for the collective and everybody individually, as well.

Adrienne Houghton: Yeah.

Tamera: Yeah. The tribe. The family.

tWitch: The tribe- the tribe is solidified a little more, ya know.

(The Real audience applauds)

Loni: Zaia’s wrapped around your finger.  You- she’s wrapped around your finger. Wait. What?

Jeannie: No, no, we got it.

Loni: You’re wrapped around her finger. (Laughs)

tWitch: Yeah. I mean, listen, I’m a bit of a softy, man. She’s uh, yeah.

Loni: Aww. Congratulations. I’m happy for you.

tWitch: Thank you, thank you.

Tamera: And it looks like Zaia’s already got the moves because you posted this adorable TikTok video of you doing the treadmill challenge with your wife Allison.

tWitch: Yeah. Yeah.

(Video is displayed on the screen of tWitch and his wife Allison Holker dancing with Zaia)

Loni: You have the best videos.

Adrienne: oh my gosh!

Tamera: Is she like a natural?

tWitch: I- I would like to think so. I mean, yeah, and it’s funny…

Jeannie: Adorable.

tWitch: I think we really set ourselves up for movement here. Because, you know, if y’all followed the pregnancy, we danced the entire time.

Tamera: Allison, yes, she was dancin’.

Adrienne: That’s incredible. She’s so amazing.

tWitch: So, um, Zaia does not like standing still. When we’re holding her, she likes to be up and moving rather than sitting in a chair somewhere. So, we kinda set ourselves up with some rocks.

Adrienne: That’s perfect for you guys. Perfect.

tWitch: Yeah. Absolutely.
