*Recently, EURweb was in the building at the world-class Apollo Theater to witness Bobby Shmurda, Asian Doll, Cash Cobain, Rubi Rose, Holy, Jamaar Milton, and many more rock the house as part of the Young N Lit Music Festival.
The young Hip-Hop lovers gleefully packed the house and were jumping to the bass that was bumpin’ from the speakers. Each reflected the personas of these rap stars with high energy. With an air of camaraderie, attendees mingled backstage. Some who graced the hallowed confines of the Apollo stage featured Trillian, Bay Swag, 5ive Mics, Girll Codee, DJ Smooth, Diamond The Artist, and others.
The scene backstage was a swirl of commotion, amid clouds of acrid weed smoke as the step-and-repeat witnessed one star-studded photo op after another.
Bobby Shmurda joyfully mingled with fellow emcees and fans alike and appeared to be in a great mood. Harlem rapper Jim Jones was also in attendance.

Veteran journalist Rick Hazell spoke with young up-and-comer Trillian (Son of Busta Rhymes), Long Island rapper Jamaar Milton, and legendary rapper and producer Lord Jamar.

“It was cool, but I’m used to a different kind of battle,” Lord Jamar told EURweb. “I’m not used to people singing in the battle and all that. It’s just different than what I’m used to. But it was cool. But I enjoyed it though” he said regarding the recent Drake vs. Kendrick Lamar battle supreme.
