*The new BET+ film, “Who’s Cheating Who?” is set to ignite screens with its exploration of infidelity, desire, and the complex nature of modern relationships.
The film is the directorial debut of Wendy Raquel Robinson, known for her classic roles in “The Game” as “Tasha Mack” and “Regina Grier” on “The Steve Harvey Show. ” The film delves into the intertwined lives of four individuals caught in a cycle of betrayal and guilt.
Apryl Jones ( “Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood”) portrays Stephanie, a former real estate agent who recently inherited her family business.
She’s intelligent, charming, and has a keen business sense, yet she finds herself increasingly dissatisfied with her marriage to Mason, played by Blue Kimble (“Monogamy”). Mason, a successful commercial director, harbors his own secrets—an ongoing affair with Maxine, who is married to Steven.
Cynthia Bailey (known for her stint on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta”) plays Maxine, a sophisticated psychotherapist whose success was built mainly by her husband, Steven, a marketing genius played by Darius McCrary (“Family Matters”). Maxine’s marriage has lost its spark despite her outward success, leading her into Mason’s arms.
In an exclusive interview with EUR, Robinson, Jones, and Bailey discussed the film’s themes and their experience on set. Robinson shared her excitement about the movie, noting:
“This story is a raw and unfiltered look at the complexities of relationships. It’s not just about infidelity but about how people grapple with their desires, their guilt, and their need for validation. Each character is deeply flawed, but that’s what makes them real.”
Jones noted that those around her underestimate her character, Stephanie: “she’s smart and strategic, and as the story unfolds, you see her using that intelligence to navigate the chaos around her. It’s a challenging role because it requires me to show vulnerability and strength.”

“She seems to have it all together on the outside, but she’s dealing with her own inner turmoil. It was important for me to portray her as more than just a woman having an affair—she’s a woman who feels unseen in her marriage and is searching for something more,” Cynthia Bailey said of her character Maxine.
“Who’s Cheating Who?” will be available to stream on BET+ starting Thursday, August 29.
